Alexander’s Bakery Southside – where family tradition meets quality craftsmanship! Since 1998, we’ve been handcrafting delicious burek, and fresh pastries, all with recipes passed down through generations.

Founded by my parents, Alexander’s began in Rockdale, and in 2019, I (Carla) expanded into the Illawarra, adding ‘Southside’ as a nod to our new community. We take pride in perfecting the traditional burek recipe, ensuring our pastry is thin and flaky without the overuse of oil. Our offerings have grown to include unique burek flavors and a variety of handmade pastries like baklavas, croissants, European donuts, and extraordinary focaccias.
